Course Combos

Several certificates in one booking, one training period, one fee. Ten days, R6 600.

A course combo is several certificates in one booking, over one training period, for one fee. Fundza Training Institute runs the Safety Combo: 10 days for R6 600, covering the site safety certificates most workplaces are asked for. Every course in a combo is assessed separately and carries its own certificate — a combo is a way of buying them, not a single qualification.

Is a combo right for you?

You need several safety certificates and do not have them yet. The Safety Combo is the cheaper route. Booked separately, the same certificates cost more than R6 600.

You already hold one or two of them. Then the combo may not pay. Price the individual courses on the safety courses page and compare before you book.

You are placing a new site worker. A combo suits someone starting out who needs a full set of tickets before they can be put on site, rather than someone topping up one certificate.

You are certifying a team. Tell us how many people and which certificates they need, and we will quote it — on site at your own premises if that suits you better.

What the Safety Combo gives you

  • One booking and one fee, over a single training period.
  • Each course assessed on its own terms.
  • A separate certificate per course, downloadable like any other.
  • Renewals are done per certificate — you do not repeat the combo.

What the combo covers

Safety Combo — 10 days, R6 600

For learners who need a full set of site safety certificates in one booking. It runs over 10 days as one training period, and each course inside it is assessed on its own terms and certificated separately, so you finish with a set of certificates rather than one. The individual courses are listed on the safety courses page. See the combo.

How combos work

The point of a combo is sequencing and price. Booked one at a time, safety certificates mean several trips, several enrolments and several fees. Booked as a combo, the training runs as one block and the fee is lower than the sum of the parts.

What does not change is the certification. Each course inside the combo is a course in its own right: it is assessed separately and it produces its own certificate, which can be downloaded like any other. If you later need to renew one of them, you renew that one on its own — you do not repeat the combo.

Combos are most useful to two groups: someone entering site work who has none of the certificates yet, and an employer placing new staff who cannot go on site until the full set is in hand.

Common questions about combos

Do I get one certificate or several?

Several. Each course in the combo is assessed separately and carries its own certificate. The combo is a way of buying and scheduling them together, not a single qualification.

Is the combo cheaper than booking the courses separately?

Yes. The Safety Combo is R6 600 for 10 days, which is less than the same certificates bought one at a time. If you already hold some of them, check the individual fees on the safety courses page first.

Can I choose which courses go into a combo?

Tell us which certificates you need and we will quote it. The published combo is the safety set; anything else is quoted per booking.

Can a combo be run at our workplace?

Yes. We train groups on site at your own premises anywhere in South Africa. Tell us how many people need certifying and where they are based, and we will come back with dates and a quotation. How on-site training works.
